As some of you may remember, in 2014 we changed our name from the Bark Coaching Institute, to the Wisdom of the Whole Coaching Academy. Along with this came a complete overhaul of our logo and website. Linda didn’t want the name of the coaching school to sound like it was about her. She wanted it to be about a movement for healthcare and our society; about how we talk with each other and heal ourselves in new and different ways.
There were many meetings deciding on a logo. Out of those discussions, we came up with the above symbol that to some may look like a flower or a four leaf clover. To Linda and the Wisdom of the Whole team, the symbol represented the four structures of consciousness embedded in our coach training, and how they combine to inform the integral structure of consciousness: the different ways of knowing and being.
The colors in our logo(s) and website were chosen with great care as well. We truly wanted a home for people to feel optimism, calm, a sense of nature, harmony, depth, and inspiration. We would sleuth for the meanings of different colors and tune into how we felt when we looked at different logo templates and colors.
When you see our logo(s) and website, what comes to your mind? What do you see? Please send in your thoughts and expressions to [email protected] and we will share them in one of our upcoming newsletters and/or blog posts.
