International Coach Federation

Learners wanting to obtain an ICF credential after completion of the Wisdom of the Whole Holistic Mastery Program must also complete a minimum of 10 Mentor Coaching hours through Wisdom of the Whole. Group mentoring may count for a maximum of 7 hours toward this mentoring requirement, and the other 3 hours must be completed with one-on-one mentoring with Dr. Linda Bark. We limit this mentoring group to no more than 10 students so by finishing the mentoring course, you will complete 7 of the 10 ICF required hours. Students can purchase three 1-1 individual mentoring sessions, at a discounted rate, for those taking the mentoring course. See below for details.

Please sign up for the group mentoring course (as well as individual mentor sessions) prior to concluding the Holistic Mastery Program so that you can meet ICF requirements.

Linda Bark has pioneered new professional health pathways by starting a nursing private practice in 1970 and by bringing holistic nursing to hospitals in the 1980s. During the 1990s she led medical tours to China, lived in China to discover how to help Westerners create a context for Eastern healing and consulted to organizations nationwide to start healing centers. She has two nursing degrees, a masters in life transition counseling, and a PhD in philosophy and religion. She combined her education and experience to create the Wisdom of the Whole Coaching Academy, a home for discovery and exploration of a new way of coaching that creates wholeness and benefits the coach, the client, and the world.

Dr. Bark has almost 30 years of experience coaching in private practice and almost 25 years of training coaches internationally in such organizations as Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, as well as KPMG and Welji in India. Linda received first place for professional development for her textbook The Wisdom of the Whole: Coaching for Joy, Health, and Success. She has been instrumental in coach certification for Nurse Coaches through the AHNCC and Health and Wellness Coaches through the National Consortium for the Certification of Health and Wellness Coaches. Her passion about holistic/integral coaching not only focuses on individual work, but also on how teams and organization can use coaching skills and principles to build and grow a healthy culture.
