As Thanksgiving quickly approaches here in the United States, we have been pondering deeper, more meaningful ways to be in a state of gratitude.

Most of us already know about gratitude logs or gratitude journals. These are great tools to help us lift our vibration and remember the many things in life we can be grateful for. However, this year we would like to challenge your gratitude routine, and ask you some (possibly) unorthodox questions:

  • Are you thankful for the people in your life that make you mad?

  • Are you grateful for people that think differently than you? Or that challenge you?

  • Are you grateful when someone disagrees with you?

When you consider the above questions, what do you think the opportunity is for you here? Could you think of someone as being your teacher? What is the lesson that is being offered?

Challenging your gratitude routine might be beneficial to help you consider experiences that you aren't necessarily welcoming, and/or those you are dismissing without truly listening. These may have something to be grateful for in terms of learning and growth...no matter how challenging or difficult.

We wish you a wonderful month.

All the best,
